What We Supply

Tool Steel Where Processing
Determines Performance

Not commodity steel with a grade label. Fully processed material where heat treatment, hardness uniformity, and dimensional stability are controlled and documented.

Product Forms
  • Flat bars & blocks — annealed, pre-hardened, or hardened-and-tempered
  • Round bars — forged or rolled, with controlled microstructure
  • Pre-machined forms — rough-machined to near-net shape
  • Custom sizes — non-standard dimensions on request
What Makes This Different
  • Heat treatment coordinated to your application, not left to default
  • Chemistry validated against actual melt, not just cert paper
  • Property consistency — hardness, toughness, wear resistance verified
  • Documentation aligned to your qualification and acceptance process

Squares

Strong, versatile square bars. Excellent hardness and uniformity for cutting tools and fabrication.

Grades We Handle

Major Tool Steel Families

Selection is driven by your application, not our inventory.

Cold Work

D3, D2 — High-carbon, high-chromium. Wear resistance and edge retention for blanking, forming, and shearing dies.

A2, O1 — Air and oil-hardening alternatives for different toughness-wear tradeoffs.

Hot Work

H13 — The standard for die casting, forging dies, and extrusion tooling. Thermal fatigue resistance and hot hardness.

High Speed & Mold

M2 — General-purpose high-speed steel for cutting tools. Red hardness and wear resistance.

S7, P20 — Shock-resistant and pre-hardened mold steel for injection molding and impact applications.

Our Process

How a Tool Steel Order Works

Every order follows the same sequenced approach.

Step 1

Application & Spec Review

Understand your application, critical properties, tolerances, and acceptance criteria.

Step 2

Source & Route Selection

Match the right mill, processing route, and heat-treatment logic to your requirements.

Step 3

Manufacturing Coordination

Align melting, forging, heat treatment, and testing. We maintain accountability across steps.

Step 4

Quality & Documentation

Hardness, microstructure, and property tests aligned to your application. Documentation reviewed before shipment.

Step 5

Delivery & Acceptance Support

Material arrives documented and ready for your qualification process.
